Welcome to the School of the Wise By now, you have read and agreed to abide by the rules, and have signed up for the E-groups, right? If not, please do so before continuing. The first text that we are going to work through is Silver RavenWolf's "To Ride a Silver Broomstick". This text will provide us with a very good basic understanding of Wicca. While we may not all agree with Silver on every point, through reading the text, doing the assignments, taking the exams, and participating in the discussions, each of us will be able to develop the beginnings of our own beliefs and understanding.
School of the Wise: Course #1: "To Ride a Silver Broomstick" By Silver RavenWolf This course will be divided up into 23 lessons, one for each chapter of the text. Upon completing each chapter, each participant will be expected to complete the writing assignments and a short quiz. At the end of the course there will be a longer exam that will review all the major topics discussed in the text. Most of the questions will be True or False and short essay format. Each participant will then check their answers, and should re-read the sections for whatever one's they may have missed. Please remember that we ask you to post your writing assignments to the group, provided you are comfortable doing so. The discussions with the group will help solidify your belief's, bring up ideas you may not have considered, and overall aide in your journey.
