As I read through this chapter several times, I tried to find some way that I might be able to expound on the ideas that Silver has laid out.  But the more I tried, the more I realize this this chapter needs to just stand by itself.  Therefore, I will not attempt to over analyze what is already written. Be sure and read through each of the terms, even if you are already familiar with them.  These terms will continue to be used, not only during the courses that use Silvers books, but also through the rest of them.  We will not have a quiz or writing assignment for this chapter.
